Classroom Instruction that Works (ASCD, January 2001) This book is the seminal research on learning in   by Marzano, Pickering, and Pollock that introduced the idea of effect sizes and high probabiity learning strategies to teachers.  Participants will learn how to apply the research based instructional strategies in their lessons every day. 

Participants will:

  • Understand different types of knowledge, procedural and declarative, and how they are learned differently and should be taught differently
